Bode Miller is a former World Cup alpine ski racer.

He is an Olympic and World Championship gold medalist, a two-time overall World Cup champion in 2005 and 2008, and the most successful male American alpine ski racer of all time.

Bode was born in the heart of the New Hampshire White Mountains.

His parents were self-styled hippies who lived deep in the woods in a house with no electricity or running water. After his parents divorced, his mother took him to nearby Cannon Mountain while she worked, often leaving him in the ski school staff's care. At age 11, he began skiing competitively.

A natural athlete, Miller earned all-state honors in high school in soccer and tennis and was an avid golfer. He was a promising snowboarder as well, but ultimately he decided to focus on skiing.

Today he lives in Big Sky, Montana, with his family and has many business interests at the intersection of sport, alpine skiing, and human performance.

In short, he is an expert in elite sport, innovation, and entrepreneurship.

Good pod this.
